Senior High Youth Group (SHYG) Meeting this Sunday!

Due to construction projects along the Red Line this weekend, we will not be going into the Omni Theatre to see Jerusalem.  Instead, we will have a general group meeting at 4:00 p.m. with a trip to the Ice Cream Smith in Lower Mills.  All are welcome, please contact Robert Goodridge (r.goodridge@me.com) with you questions!

Book Collecting for South Africa Continues!

We are extending our very successful book drive for pre-school children in South Africa through the Easter season, until Pentecost (June 8th)!  So, you still have time to choose a book or two from your family shelf to help a child.  This is connected to the diocesan-wide book drive for the Masakhane Trust.  Also, we have newly-printed St. Michael’s book plates – large and small – to put into your book.  Just add a couple of words, and maybe sign it!  All collected books have been set out in the Upper Parish Hall so you can retrieve your book if you’ve already donated one, put in a bookplate with your best wishes, then put it into the trunk.  Thanks for your generosity and kindness!

Bishop Shaw’s Remembrance Book

Bishop Tom Shaw’s nearly 20-year ministry as our diocesan bishop has been a period of tremendous grace and abundance for our diocese.  Many events have been planned in honor of Bishop Shaw; please see the posting on the bulletin board in the Upper Parish Hall.  There is currently a red ‘Remembrance Book’ on the stand in the Upper Parish Hall for you to record your reflections, thoughts, remembrances, prayers, or simply your name, for Bishop Tom.  This book will serve as a distinctive gift from our congregation, to be presented to him – along with Remembrance Books from across the diocese – at the culminating celebration on June 21st!

Save the Date!

St. Michael’s Parish picnic will be held on Sunday, June 8th (Pentecost and Youth Sunday) after the 10:00 a.m. service.  Details to follow!

Milton Food Pantry Donation

Please keep your donations to the Milton Food Pantry coming!  Any items that can be stored in a larder – cans, pasta, jars of peanut butter and jelly, and so forth – will be gratefully received and distributed.
