St. Michael’s leadership consists of a Rector and Associate Deacon who are primarily responsible for worship, pastoral care, and Christian formation and a Vestry, the formal lay leadership of the parish.

Martha has been a member of St. Michael’s since 2003. Currently serving as Senior Warden, she facilitates the Property Committee and chairs the Education Commission and is a member of Worship and Stewardship Commission. She has served as head of the Altar Guild, coordinator of Epiphany School meal volunteers, Outreach Commission, Auction Committee, the Rector Search Committee and vestry(2008-2011). Martha taught for 38 years in the Boston Public School System. She is currently retired, but remains active in education. She is an executive board member of the Boston Retired Teachers Chapter. She is State President of Delta Kappa Gamma International, a society for key women educators. She lives in Milton with her husband Matthew and Chocolate L,ab Georgia. They have two adult children JP and Elizabeth.

Lorna joined St. Michael’s in 1998; she has taught in the Church School for several years, serves as a member of the Education Commission, and was a member of the Vestry before becoming Clerk. Lorna is Director of Marketing for BSC Group, a Boston-based engineering consulting firm. She and her husband Josh live in Canton with their children Abigail and Benjamin.

Stacey has been a member of St Michael’s since 2008. She has served as a member of the Christmas Auction Committee for three years, has taught in the parish’s church school, and is a member of the education commission. Stacey works as a physical therapist at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. She lives in Milton with her husband, James, and children, Emma and Jameson.

Bob has been a member of St. Michael’s since 2004. He has volunteered in the nursery, in the Sunday school, and with the Youth Group. He is the middle school head at Boston College High School. Bob’s wife, Kate, has served on the St. Michael’s the vestry, on the Parish Life commission, and in the Sunday school. She teaches at Milton Academy. They live in Milton with their three children.

Norman James, Vestry
Norman has been a member of St. Michael’s since 1981. He grew up in St. Louis, as did his wife Leslie. He has been active in St. Michael’s affairs over the decades on various committees and commissions, both within the parish and on a diocesan level. He lectors on a regular basis, preferring First Reading Old Testament stuff. Outside the church, he and Leslie operate a tour guide business in Boston. Norman also is a certified addiction counselor, working currently with Phoenix House in Quincy.
Jamie McKnight, Vestry
Jamie McKnight has been a member of St. Michael’s for over 15 years and began serving on the vestry in April of 2015. At St. Michael’s he has been most involved as the Coordinator of the Monday Lunch Program that serves lunch to the homeless and working poor at St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown Boston on the first Monday of every month. He has also served on the Nominating Committee and been a co-host of the Annual Auction. Jamie is a professor at Boston University School of Medicine. Jamie and his wife Natalie, the Dean of the College of General Studies at Boston University and a former vestry member, have two daughters, Emily and Annie. They live in Milton.

Christine “Kricket” Seidman, Vestry
Kricket has been a member of St Michael’s since 1992. Since then she has been a Church School teacher (4-6th grade), confirmad guide, soup kitchen shopper, and previously served on the Vestry. Kricket is a cardiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and with her husband Jonathan she directs a biomedical research laboratory at Harvard Medical School. The Seidmans have three adult children and live in Milton.
