This fall we will embark on an inquiry into what we believe in God. This inquiry could be a class for inquirers, but it is patently not a course about the Episcopal Church. It is a course that invites each of us to think outside the realm of structured religious practices and frameworks, and to ask questions about how each of us has engaged with the sacred. We will also consider new possibilities for understanding what our hearts have been trying to tell us all along. It is not meant to provoke change in beliefs or practices, or to persuade or move anyone into a place of discomfort. It is meant to invite each of us on a Crooked Journey to God. We will meet in the Memorial Chapel each Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for six sessions: September 28th, October 5th and 19th, and November 2nd, 16th and 23rd. Childcare will be available. Don’t worry if you can’t be here for each session, just come with your questions and your ears to listen to one another, and to explore together the mysteries of belief.
