St. Michael’s Serves Lunch This Monday, August 5
Cooks and servers are always welcome when St. Michael’s hosts the Monday
Lunch Program at St. Paul’s Cathedral in downtown Boston on the first Monday
of every month, including this coming Monday, August 5th.  The program
regularly serves well over a hundred homeless, elderly, and working poor
guests.  Meet promptly at 9 a.m. at St. Michael’s to drive in town together,
cook and serve the meal, and return to Milton by 1:30 or 2 p.m.  Or come to
the Cathedral at 10 a.m. to cook, or come at 11:45 to help serve and clean
up for about an hour.  The Cathedral is located at 138 Tremont Street,
across from the Park Street T station.  There’s a sign-up sheet on the
bulletin board in the upper parish hall.  Questions?  Please contact Jamie
McKnight at 617-696-6487 or cjmck@bu.edu.

B-SAFE Volunteers Welcome!
There are so many ways to be involved with this wonderful summer program
that serves urban young people, and B-SAFE would love to have you (or your
Senior High schooler) be part of it.  Opportunities are to assist with
preparing and serving lunch, at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Mattapan,
on Wednesday 7/31 and Thursday 8/1 (time commitment is roughly 10 a.m. – 2
p.m.).

Thursday Holy Eucharist and Bible Study
The Thursday Holy Eucharist and Bible Study will not be held during the
month of August, and will resume on September 5th.
