Teens and Social Media: Protecting them today and for their tomorrows

Categories: Education Commission,Events,News,Parish Life

On Sunday, October 23, join Youth Together Director Kathy O’Donoghue in examining some of the extraordinary social media challenges facing today’s teens. We’ll explore how sharing personal information, photos, and friendship requests can compromise physical and emotional safety, and in some cases, jeopardize a teen’s future. Kathy will share information on how vulnerable all children and teens are to this social media challenge, and provide resources for both teens and parents. This forum is part of St. Michael’s Adult Education Series which meets each Sunday after 10 a.m. services. Grab a cup of coffee and meet in the Lower Parish Hall. All are invited to join and child care is provided.
